How does it work?
When you start a new job, you can select to enrich either your Person, Company, or IP list.
Each batch enrich job is completed in four steps that will be explained in greater detail in the next section:
- Prepare & upload your list
- Map your fields to PDL inputs
- Configure any optional parameters
- Preview your job and start enrichment
Behind the scenes, we are using our Enrichment APIs to find the single best match for each record in your list.
After each job is completed, you can then review the results and select any additional premium field add-ons before purchasing the list.
Step-by-step
Start a new job
Click the New enrich job button and select a Person, Company, or IP job type from the dropdown.
Prepare & upload list
This step allows you to upload your CSV for enrichment and describes the minimum requirements for running a successful job. All lists must:
- Be in CSV format with column headers
- Contain at least the minimum input fields required for a successful enrichment
- Meet the minimum purchase price of $50.00
- For Person jobs, this is a minimum of ~180 records
- For Company jobs, this is a minimum of ~500 records
- For IP jobs, this is a minimum of ~700 records
💡 Pro tip
To speed up the process for uploading a list, click the Download CSV Template button and transcribe your list to the template.
Map fields
This step allows you to map the fields in your uploaded list to the associated PDL input for enrichment.
- We will attempt to map this automatically based on your column names
- Using the template from the Prepare & upload list will ensure all fields are automatically mapped.
- If you decide not to use the template, you can select the correct fields to map by using the dropdown in the PDL mapping column
- Hovering over the Sample data from your list will provide a tooltip for reference of the first 10 rows in your CSV
- Any row marked as Do not use will not be used as an input value for enrichment
Configure options
This step allows you to add additional, optional configuration parameters to your job. All Person and Company jobs have the following options:
- Title case: If checked, the values will return in Proper Case as opposed to the default lower case.
- Required fields: This builder allows you to define which fields must exist in the enriched record to be counted as a match. See below for detailed examples.
- Add Rule allows you to select one or more fields with AND / OR operators
- Add Group allows you select one or more nested fields with AND / OR operators

- Add Rule
- Select
total_funding_raised

- Select OR from the dropdown

inferred_revenue
This example, in plain english, reads, "require all enriched companies to have a non-empty value for total_funding_raised
OR inferred_revenue
."

In this scenario, you have a list of candidates that you are looking to enrich for contact data. You want to make sure that you are only pay for records that have a LinkedIn URL and either a mobile phone number or a personal email.

AND either recommended_personal_email
OR mobile_phone

Preview & confirm
This final step allows you to confirm you configuration from all previous steps and optionally receive an email after the job has been completed.
If anything looks incorrect, click the Back button or click the specific step in the Step Panel on the left side to make any necessary changes.
If everything looks good, click Start Enrichment to kick off the job.
View Results
After the job has completed successfully, you may view the match rate, field fill rate, and add on additional fields before making your purchase.
The match rate represents the percentage of records we were able to enrich from your list. You only pay for matched records.
Expand each bundle to view the percentage of records from your list that have have a value populated for the field. Click the Add button to add the field bundle to your purchase. You will pay for the Total matches regardless of the field fill rate.
Example
- You upload a list with 1,000 records
- We match 950 records
- The match rate is 95%
- 750 matches have a value for
job_title
- The field fill rate is 75%
- You will pay for 950 records and 750 of them will have a value for
job_title
💡 Pro tip
In the example above, if you only want to pay for 750 records, usejob_title
as a Required field in the Configure options step.
Hover over the Cost / match tooltip to understand the cost breakdown.
When you are ready to make your purchase click the Buy list button in the top right.
