Overview
This page describes how to examine API usage for the different PDL products. The Usage page allows you to view API usage by hour, day, week, month, and year along a specific time range.
To access the Usage page, simply click Usage in the left navigation menu.
Usage overview
The Usage overview section will show you the total number of credits used, remaining, along with percent usage. To change the PDL product, click the dropdown menu and select the product you'd like to view usage for.
⚠️ Note: Metrics are updated every 15 minutes.
The usage chart and table, however, are updated in near real-time
If you'd like to get email notifications when you hit a specific usage percentage, click the Configure alerts button at the top.
If you need to top up your credits, click the Add Credits button to navigate to the Plans & billing page.
Usage chart
The Usage chart allows you to visualize usage by selecting a data range and a view by option. The chart will only display data if there were any API calls on the associated day. For example, if API calls were made on 7/1 and 7/3, the chart would not display 7/2 on the X-axis.
⚠️ Note: All times are recorded in UTC.
To get started, select a date range by clicking the drop down. You can select a specific date range or user one of the relative options on the right panel of the date picker.
Once you've selected a date range, select a View by option to group the data.
You can now see the Usage Chart broken down by day for the current month.
Usage table
The Usage table allows you to view usage data in a tabular format by selecting a data range and a view by option.
To view the table version, follow the steps above in Usage chart and click the table icon in the top right.
If you'd like to conduct further interrogation on the data or share it with someone else on your team, click Download CSV.
