Overview

You API key can become compromised for a number of reasons:

• You accidentally sent it to an external party via plain text
• An employee with prior access no longer works for your organization
• A vulnerability in your code was exploited

If your key becomes compromised, PDL provides a simple way to roll your key (generate a new key) to secure your code.

Walkthrough

1. Navigate to the API Keys page
2. Click the Overflow Menu (...) for the API Key you'd like to roll
3. Select Roll Key from the menu
4. Click Yes, Roll to roll the key

Note: Ensure you replace any instance of this key in your code environments to avoid a disruption in service!
